2005

Forward-thinking finance solicitor and hedge fund COO Jerome Lussan founds the quickly successful Laven Group, a compliance consultancy serving the investment management industry.

2014 - 2016

The group develops a proprietary software to empower consultants with leveraged workflows – time overheads are reduced by 40% while efficacy is fully preserved, allowing the group to expand and take on more clients.

2016 - 2018

Recognising the benefits of the software to the wider financial services industry, the group extends its use to the first SaaS clients and sets about reconceptualising the software as an independent venture to be rebuilt from the ground up.

2021 - 2022

The company pivots away from compliance consulting to concentrate its focus on software, giving birth to the Leo brand as a new standalone company. The company establishes its French office and secures its first clients in France.

Present Day

Today we have established ourselves as the tool which underpins the compliance and due diligence processes of over a hundred financial services firms who use Leo to fulfil their compliance and service responsibilities.

Leo continues to evolve with the ongoing development of new and improved functionality in pursuit of its ambitions to be the foremost all-encompassing and comprehensive compliance platform available.
